Uber Boat

The London Eye and a boat on the Thames. A speech bubble points to a dock with the three words location slip.potato.valid

At Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, we are committed to ensuring everybody can enjoy the experience of sailing through London.

All our vessels, and currently all but three of our 23 piers, are accessible. Passengers use ramps to board and disembark and you’ll find accessible toilet facilities on most of our boats.  Our larger vessels also provide baby-change facilities.

At some of our piers, the most obvious entrance is not always the most accessible.  That’s why we’ve recently teamed up with what3words; an easy way to find and share exact locations. Every 3 metre square has its own unique three-word identifier.  At Embankment Pier, for example, the step-free entrance’s location is ///catch.jaws.deep. You can learn more about our piers and find the what3words location of every pier’s accessible entrance at thamesclippers.com/find-your-pier.

Our friendly staff are trained to help and understand the needs of customers with impairments and are more than happy to assist when needed. Onboard announcements help visually-impaired customers to make journeys and assistance dogs are welcome to sail with us too. Accompanying carers can travel with us for free.

We’re always looking for ways to make our services more accessible, if you have any suggestions, you can get in touch.
