Taxi guarantee scheme 

Brighton & Hove buses lead the way with a wheelchair taxi guarantee scheme for their customers.

Brighton & Hove buses have taken accessibility into account, providing space for buggies as well as wheelchairs on their buses. However, if for any reason a wheelchair user is still unable to board the bus, Brighton & Hove have a wheelchair taxi guarantee scheme that provides a free accessible taxi. If the customer would like that option, instead of waiting for the next bus, the driver will contact the control room to order a taxi and provide the passenger with a taxi guarantee information leaflet which they can present to the taxi driver. The taxi is free and Brighton & Hove Buses work in partnership with the taxi companies.
