Kathy’s Story

Don’t be a bull in a china shop! Take care and be mindful of others.

We all have places to be and people to see, but charging through crowds makes things harder for other passengers.  Kathy is a wheelchair user and bullish passengers can make her journeys very difficult.

“There’s often little room on trains, with prams and suitcases taking up wheelchair spaces. Stations are congested and difficult to navigate in my wheelchair. People don’t always look where they are going and run in front of my wheelchair – I end up crashing into them if I can’t brake in time!”

Next time you find yourself in a hurry, make sure you aren’t causing beef with other passengers. Take care and be mindful of others around you.
